What is Polvo, anyway?

Polvo Digital Arts is a design studio based in Adelaide, South Australia. We provide creative, graphic and digital design solutions, with the designers making it all look distinctive and the development team making it truly accessible.

Oh, Polvo is also Portuguese for octopus, incredibly clever little creatures. Like our cephalopod mollusc friends, we strive to be multi skilled, highly efficient, change colors and even shape, so we blend in seamlessly when required. With a flexible team of experienced professionals, we can change size as well. So yes, you now know Polvo really means octopus, although we like to say it's Australian for quality digital design.

So why the octopus?

It's ok to ask, we get that all the time. As a matter of fact, octopuses have proven to be one of the most brilliant creatures. Amongst other qualities, they are:

• Super clever - One of the few species capable of solving mazes.
• Highly adaptable - They can change size, shape and colours, when required.
• Unique - There are similar species, but none that good.
• Exceptional at problem-solving - Did we mention they are clever? Like, very?

If we are to bring these qualitites in to the corporate world, we thought the octopus would make a crazy mascot... we mean, a great symbol.
